Yatra Books is launching a series of international titles in translation. We are collaborating with European Publishers and Institutes to aid and assist us in bringing out quality editions. In 2008 Yatra shall be launching an independent 'International Bookshelf', with translations from Catalan, French, Italian and more.

• The  Institute Ramon Llull in Barcelona has sponsored a Hindi Translation of Merce Rodoreda's Tots els Contes. (The Complete Short Stories of Merce Rodoreda)
• CEDUST, India, (Centre de documentation universitaire, scientifique et technique) is co-sponsoring a major French to English translation project, with Christophe Jaffrelot's L'Inde Contemporaine.
• In the field of University initiatives, Yatra Books is in talks with Sichuan University, China and WITS University, South Africa, for co-publishing Text Books and general titles, and initiating academic collaborations and symposia.  
• Yatra Books has co-sponsored Siyahi's International Conference on 'Translating Bharat', held in Jaipur, January 2008.
